Theme Park Reservation Requirements

Reservations are no longer required for date-based tickets. Some other ticket types still require a reservation.

No Reservation Required

For these admission types, reservations are not needed:

  • Date-based 1-day tickets

  • Date-based multi-day tickets

Reservation Required

The following admission types still require reservations:

  • Student group tickets

  • Sport & Convention tickets

  • Disney Military Salute Tickets

  • Annual Passes

  • Florida Resident Discover Disney Tickets

  • All non-dated ticket types

Park Hopping Rules

Guests with Park Hopper tickets or Annual Passes can hop at any time during park hours, subject to capacity.

Before hopping, you must:

  • Enter your first park

  • Have a reservation if required for your admission type

  • Or enter on a Good-to-Go Day

  • Or after 2:00 PM (Passholders only, with exceptions)

How to Make a Reservation

Step 1: Link Your Admission

  • Log into or create your Disney account

  • Link your tickets or Annual Pass

  • Link your Disney Resort hotel reservation (if applicable)

Step 2: Create Your Party

  • Choose family members from your Family & Friends List.

Step 3: Select Date & Park

  • Choose an available date and theme park.

Step 4: Confirm Your Plans

  • Review your selection and finalize your reservation.

    Note: Multi-day tickets require a reservation for each day of your visit.

You can modify or cancel your reservation under My Theme Park Reservations in My Disney Experience.

Reservations are limited and not guaranteed until finalized

  • Always check availability before purchasing non-dated tickets

  • Park hopping rules vary by ticket type

  • Availability changes frequently

  • Passholders must follow block out date rules

  • Good-to-Go Days are updated regularly
